You know that, in order to maintain the foundation of community, you have to be accessible to everyone. You’ve taken measures to make your building accessible to people of all abilities in your community, and you can rely on us to make sure your digital presence is as accessible as possible as well.

Your institution’s theme plays a big part in accessibility, so as we create and apply the theme to your apps we may have to modify some of your brand colors to accommodate minimum contrast ratios.

Our development team works through Banno Mobile™ at a granular level to ensure that it adheres to ADA standards—that is, users can navigate it with zero visuals.

We also leverage accessibility resources provided by the iOS and Android operating systems (OS).

iOS & iPadOS

We follow best practices from Apple® and the iOS community, including VoiceOver. We use their Accessibility Programming Guide as our main iOS resource.

Android

For Android, we follow the Accessibility Developer Checklist.

Banno Online app

To make Banno Online accessible to people with a wider range of abilities, we follow WCAG 2.1 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1).
