Banno Business Reports

Making sound decisions for an organization requires that your authorized business users can access information on their digital banking habits – both as a company and as individual members of that company. Banno Business Reports provide the key data business leaders need to learn how their teams are using your apps, moving money for their respective organizations, and more.

Business users have secure access to numerous business reports:

  • Activity
  • Current day and Prior day
  • Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions
  • Positive pay
  • Summary
Banno Business Reports brings the same crucial information that’s available with Commercial Cash Management Reports (in NetTeller) to the enhanced Banno experience, and the feature is available to Banno Business banks on SilverLake and CIF 20/20 cores, and the feature requires no additional contract.

Configuring Banno Reports

Your financial institution must set permissions for the NetTeller ID and the users of that business for reports to function properly. This is handled through NetTeller Back Office using the following steps:

NetTeller Back Office

The steps for configuring Banno Business Reports access are identical to the steps for configuring Commercial Cash Management (CCM) Reports access:

  1. In NetTeller Back Office, navigate to Manage Products > Cash Management > Edit CM Settings.
  2. Set the Show Transaction Reports permissions, with the following options:
    • For All CCM NT IDs: Select this option to make business reports available to all NetTeller IDs. This is the recommended setting.
    • Per CCM NT IDs: Select this option if you want to make business reports available, yet require configuration on a per-business and per-business-user basis.
    • No: Select this option only if you do not want to allow access to business reports.
If you choose the Per CCM NT IDs setting, you will also need to complete these Per-User Configuration steps (outlined below) in NetTeller Back Office.

Per user configuration

To configure individuals’ access to reports, follow these steps for each business and its users:

  1. In NetTeller Back Office, navigate to Manage Users > Cash Management Reporting Options, and enable all desired permissions for the business.
Note: Cash Management Reporting Options will only be displayed if the Show Transaction Reports option is set to Per CCM NT IDs.
  2. Under Manage Users in the Manage User List, set the desired permissions for each individual user.
End users will see all of the report tabs available, even if permissions in NetTeller Back Office restrict those reports. When attempting to open a restricted report, end users will see a message stating that they do not have permissions to view the report.

Banno People

After completing configuration in NetTeller Back Office, enabling the feature for a business and its users is quick and easy:

  1. In Banno People, navigate to the given business’s profile, click the Permissions tab, and turn on the Reports toggle.
  2. Still in Banno People, navigate to each business user’s profile, click the Permissions tab, and turn on the Reports toggle.
