Jack Henry Platform FAQ

What components comprise the Jack Henry Platform?

The first iteration of the Jack Henry Platform will be a digital, deposit-only core and its services will include: ACH, authorizations, card management, deposit account management, entity (CIF/member records), exception items, identity management, general ledger, and wires. Some of these components, like Jack Henry Wires, can be bought standalone or as part of the digital core. Other components, like authorizations and identity management, will not be sold standalone and will just come with other products because they don’t provide value on their own.

Over time, our longer-term strategy is to have many Jack Henry products modernize and integrate with the Jack Henry Platform. This will help us extend beyond our initial feature set and expand the digital core’s functionality. Eventually, any Jack Henry product that is cloud-native, API and event-driven, and is integrated with other Jack Henry Platform products will be considered part of the Jack Henry Platform.

How will the Jack Henry Platform work with my existing core?

We are working toward integrating with all four Jack Henry cores, as well as third-party cores. Additionally, we are working on a way for you to view information from across the Jack Henry Platform digital core and your existing core so that you can have a centralized experience.

As part of this effort to unify the experience between the Jack Henry Platform digital core and our existing cores, our Jack Henry cores like SilverLake and Symitar are building their own browser-based experiences within the Jack Henry Platform that will allow them to surface their information in the same native experience as the Jack Henry Platform digital core.

Is the Jack Henry Platform a side core?

No, the Jack Henry Platform is not a side core. Side cores cannot integrate directly with existing cores like the Jack Henry Platform can.

How will I access my Jack Henry Platform products?

To access your Jack Henry Platform products, log in through Banno.com, select your institution, and select the Platform icon in the left-hand menu to launch the Jack Henry Platform back office and view all your Jack Henry Platform products in one place. You do not need to have Banno to log into the Jack Henry Platform in this way. Soon, we will have a Jack Henry Platform-specific URL, giving users another way to navigate to the Jack Henry Platform.

How will reporting work for the Jack Henry Platform?

The Jack Henry Platform will have all its back office reporting within Jack Henry Insights. Additionally, each Jack Henry Platform component will have data sets available through Jack Henry Data Hub for raw data access.
