Decisioning & Workflows

Workflows are the backbone of the application experience in JHA OpenAnywhere, defining the order and content of each step for both the Applicant Channel and the Employee Channel. These highly configurable workflows are designed and managed in the Management Console, determining the screens and experience that applicants and employees experience while opening new accounts.

  • Workflow States: Workflows are composed of four types of states: Information (data collection), Decision (user decision and rule decision), and Action (background tasks).
  • Powerful Configuration: The Management Console provides tools to create, edit, and reorder these states to build application flows for different purposes (e.g., new vs. existing customers, single vs. joint applicants).
  • Rule Engine: A powerful rule engine allows for granular control over every aspect of the workflow Rules can be used to control verbiage, validate data, auto-add services, or dynamically present content based on applicant information or product selections.
  • Decisioning: For consumers, the system processes results from vendors like FIS™ for services such as IDV, IDA, and QualiFile®. For businesses, the system processes results from vendors like BizChex from FIS, or Middesk through Alloy.
