Creating a New Custom Report (Save)

Use this method to turn a Standard Report template into a permanent Custom Report:

  1. In the flyout filter, select specific criteria (Accounts, Transaction Types, etc.).
  2. Click the Save icon at the bottom of the filter menu.
  3. An Add Report modal will be presented. Enter a unique name (e.g., “Week to Date Transaction”) and click Save.
Success! The report will now be available under the Custom Reports and All Reports tab for future use.

Duplicating an Existing Report (Save As)

Use the Save As feature to create a new report based on an existing custom template. This is ideal for creating variations of the same report without starting from scratch.

  1. Navigate to the Custom Reports tab.
  2. Click Run Report on an existing custom template.
  3. (Optional) Modify any filters or criteria if the new report requires different parameters.
  4. Click the Save arrow at the bottom of the filter menu and select Save As Report.
  5. In the Save Report As modal, enter a new name for this version (e.g., “Month to Date Transaction”).
  6. Click Save.
Success! You will now see both the original and the new report listed in the Custom Reports library.

Tip for Efficiency: Use Favorite (star icon) within the report tile to identify most frequently used reports. This moves them to the Favorite Reports dashboard, allowing users to generate their most vital data quickly. Reports marked as Favorite will also be available from the Channel Dashboard in the Favorite Reports widget.
