State of the Jack Henry Platform

We know it’s important for you to keep track of the capabilities that make up the Jack Henry Platform and where they’re all at from a development perspective today. Consider this page your 1,000-foot view of the Jack Henry Platform so you can see the status of particular products or services all in one place.

In the age of rapidly evolving digital tools, fintech explosion, and waning consumer loyalty, community financial institutions need technology and strategies that enable them to work smarter, not harder. The Jack Henry Platform is a cloud-native ecosystem that functions like an operating system for the applications financial institutions use every day, enabling greater back office efficiency and competitively differentiating strategies for your financial institution.

With the Jack Henry Platform, we are building cloud-native services designed to evolve with the demands of emerging technologies without sacrificing the stability you have today. Instead of a full core conversion, you can adopt capabilities of the Jack Henry Platform (like wires, ledger, exceptions, etc.) as you’re ready while maintaining direct integration with your foundational core.

Learn more about our Platform strategy

Any Jack Henry product that is cloud-native, API and event-driven, and integrated to other Jack Henry Platform applications is considered “part of the platform” and many existing Jack Henry products are on modernization journeys to become part of the platform in this way. Because of this, the Jack Henry Platform will evolve into a comprehensive financial operating system that unifies experiences across products and expands beyond traditional core functionality.

While you can adopt Jack Henry Platform applications individually and incrementally, you also have the option to assemble certain Jack Henry Platform capabilities together to act as a digital core. These digital core capabilities are just that – parts of a greater ecosystem that deliver beyond just digital core features.

Essential capabilities for our initial digital deposit core offering include Account Management, ACH, Audit & Activity Logging, Authorizations, Card Management, Digital Assets, Entity, Jack Henry Exception Manager, Jack Henry Ledger, GRAPH, Jack Henry Identity, Jack Henry Insights, Journal, Jack Henry Sanctions Screening, and Jack Henry Wires. On this page, these capabilities are marked with the Deposit Core Service tag to highlight their unique role. Other platform capabilities, such as Jack Henry Data Hub, are also listed but will not carry that tag.

Below you’ll see that each capability is accompanied by one or more status tags. These indicate the stage of development the product/service is currently in, along with any additional relevant details. Here’s a quick overview of what each tag means.

Note: Dates and feature descriptions contained on this page are provided as estimates only and can be changed at any time at the sole discretion of Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. This information may not be incorporated into any contract and should not be relied upon in making purchasing decisions.

This is our first iteration of what will become a robust cloud-native digital core. To start, it will support deposit accounts and will utilize the following deposit core services: Account Management, ACH, Audit & Activity Logging, Authorizations, Card Management, Digital Assets, Entity, Jack Henry Exception Manager, Jack Henry Ledger, GRAPH, Jack Henry Identity, Jack Henry Insights, Journal, Jack Henry Sanctions Screening, and Jack Henry Wires.

We will be closed beta testing with three financial institutions (one bank and two credit unions) in the coming months.

Provide financial institutions access to raw and engineered data for their Jack Henry products in a centralized location of their choice, such as Google BigQuery, Microsoft Azure, or AWS, with more destinations coming in the future. Financial institutions do not purchase Jack Henry Data Hub, but rather, they purchase individual data sets that Jack Henry Data Hub delivers to their data warehouse.

This data set includes tables from Banno Conversations, Banno History, and Banno Operation and Transaction data, with more tables being added over time.
Launched

While the Banno data set captures what general actions users take within Banno, the Banno Usage Data data set provides information about more detailed usage patterns and common interaction paths.
Launched

This data set provides batch data and near real-time data about wire activity within Jack Henry Wires.
Launched

This data set provides a monthly summary of data from SmartPay, Ensenta, PayCenter, Card Processing Services (CPS), iPay, and PayRailz.

Deposit Core Service Platform Enabling Service

Serves as the enterprise authentication service for the Jack Henry Platform, giving financial institution staff a digital identity that can be validated with one set of credentials across accounts and giving administrators a place to manage credentials, 2FA enrollments, and other identity settings across their financial institution. Enabled as the enterprise authentication framework for all Banno and Jack Henry Platform financial institutions.

GRAPH (Groups, Relationships, and Permissions Hierarchy) is an API-driven central system that organizes and manages groups, permissions, relationships, and financial instruments associated with a customer or member. While GRAPH won’t appear directly in the UI, different Banno and Jack Henry Platform applications will call GRAPH APIs to determine an end user’s limits and permissions.

A consolidated view of your customer or member that brings all of their associated accounts (including those on different systems of record) and digital ways of interacting to a single control panel within the Jack Henry Platform. Specific profile-related projects include:

GRAPH will ingest Symitar data and use that data to power a member-centric view within the Symitar Web App.
In Development

A holistic, contextual profile view of a customer and all their accounts powered by the GRAPH system.
In Development

A reimagined way of enforcing entitlements all the way down the stack. Permissions are set at the institution level to control the account types and relationships that can have digital access, and from there, more granular feature permissions can be controlled at the group, consumer, business, and user levels. Please note that due to the size of this project, the following list of entitlements-related efforts is not all-encompassing.

GRAPH will manage user permissions and limits for Banno consumer wires. Financial institution staff will use Banno Admin to navigate to the Jack Henry Platform, where they will be able to update user permissions. Closed beta testing is expected to begin in upcoming months.
In Development

GRAPH will provide the entitlement rules and logic for Banno Business for Core Director completely independent of NetTeller. Initial efforts will include support for creating user roles and inviting new users as well as supporting entitlements for internal transfers, mobile deposit, merchant deposit, and stop payments, with ACH and wires origination entitlements following after.
In Development

Treasury Management will be moving to rely on Jack Henry Wires instead of SilverLake wires for its wire processing. As part of that effort, GRAPH will manage the end user wire entitlements, similar to how it supports entitlements for Banno consumer wires. This is a critical piece of preparing Treasury Management for the international wires ISO migration in November 2026. Closed beta testing is expected to begin in upcoming months.
In Development

Banno Business will be integrating with Jack Henry Wires to support its wire processing and will rely on GRAPH for end users’ wire entitlements. Closed beta testing with SilverLake banks is expected to begin in upcoming months, followed shortly by testing with Core Director banks.
In Development

Support entitlements for the Jack Henry Platform’s digital core feature set to enable a financial institution to run a digital brand that connects to the Jack Henry Platform’s digital core.

Deposit Core Service

Digital Assets brings stablecoin payments natively into the Jack Henry Platform. Financial institutions can manage USDC liquidity and offer business customers a USDC account that moves money faster than traditional rails, including nights, weekends, and across borders.

Starting in Treasury Management, businesses will be able to send and receive USDC directly from their digital banking experience. Followed shortly by Banno Business.

Even as financial institutions adopt Jack Henry Platform capabilities, there will still be information they need to access from their foundational cores (e.g., SilverLake and CIF 20/20). The SilverLake and CIF 20/20 Web Apps in the Jack Henry Platform surface information from their respective foundational cores so that users can reduce the number of times they have to navigate outside of the Jack Henry Platform experience to find information.

Unlike capabilities such as Jack Henry Wires or Jack Henry Exception Manager, the SilverLake and CIF 20/20 Web Apps are not designed to replace existing foundational core functionality. Rather, these apps draw data from the foundational core and present it inside the Jack Henry Platform for a more cohesive and centralized user experience.

We are close to completion on initial development and will enter closed beta soon. Testing will begin, initially, with SilverLake banks.

Closed beta is scheduled to begin with two banks in Q3 CY2026.

Even as financial institutions adopt Jack Henry Platform capabilities, there will still be information they need to access from their Symitar core. The Symitar Web App in the Jack Henry Platform surfaces information from the Symitar core so that users can reduce the number of times they have to navigate outside of the Jack Henry Platform experience to find information.

Unlike capabilities such as Jack Henry Wires or Jack Henry Exception Manager for example, the Symitar Web App is not designed to replace existing foundational core functionality. Rather, it draws from foundational core data and presents it inside the Jack Henry Platform for enhanced, member-centric views of the member relationship.

The Symitar Web App is currently in closed beta with two credit unions.

Deposit Core Service Platform Enabling Service

A solution hosted on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) that processes entity screening using the financial institution’s selected vendor solution, which aggregates the necessary data. This compiled information is then presented directly within the Jack Henry Platform, to facilitate efficient and informed decision-making regarding whether to accept or deny services to the screened entity.

This will not be a product that is sold – it is currently utilized by Jack Henry Wires and may be used by other Jack Henry Platform services as needed.
