Banno Marketing - Banno Online Setup

Create a campaign

Get started

  1. Inside the Banno platform, select Banno Marketing.
  2. In the Banno Marketing navigation, select Campaigns.
  3. Click Create a Campaign.

Add specifics

  1. Determine the Type of campaign to create. Select Campaign for digital banking.
  2. Add a Campaign Name - easily identify the campaign.
  3. Add a Description - help differentiate between campaigns.
  4. Enter Start Date - the date you’d like your campaign to begin.
  5. If applicable, enter Optional End Date - the date your campaign will end.

Create the campaign

Select Create.

Import a segment

Segments allow you to serve ads in your campaign to specific users within Banno Online. Attaching segments to campaigns is optional. If no segment is included, ads in the campaign will be served to all users inside Banno Online. If a segment is attached to a campaign, ads within that campaign will be served only to users in that segment.

Get started

  1. Inside the Banno platform, select Banno Marketing.
  2. In the Banno Marketing navigation, select Campaigns.
  3. In your list of campaigns, select Digital Banking as the type.
  4. Select the name of the campaign you want to work with.

Import a segment

  1. In the Audience segment card, click Import a segment or + to attach a segment to the campaign.
  2. Upload a CSV file that includes a list of users you’d like to target with this campaign.
  3. Click Download CSV template and follow the template’s format for best results. Include ID (NetTeller ID/Username/Member number), full name, and email address for each user in the segment.
  4. Once the user segment list is saved, drag and drop the CSV file or browse files to import the list into Banno Marketing.
  5. Select or deselect ‘My CSV includes a header row’, depending on the makeup of your file upload.
  6. How should we identify your users? Indicate the criteria used for the ID field in your CSV file, so Banno Marketing can properly identify the Banno Online user - NetTeller ID, Username, or Member number.
  7. Click Continue.
  8. We will run a check to validate the users included in the CSV file that has been uploaded.
    • If no users have been found, you can go Back to import a new list or cancel.
    • If valid users have been imported, you will see how many entries have been added.
      • Name the segment you’ve uploaded.
      • Click Import to import the list. This will take you back to the Campaigns details where you can see the attached segment in the Audience segment card.

Create an ad

Get started

  1. Inside the Banno platform, select Banno Marketing.
  2. In the Banno Marketing navigation, select Campaigns.
  3. In your list of campaigns, select Digital Banking as the type.
  4. Select the name of the campaign you want to work with.
  5. Click Create an Ad.

Choose an ad template

  1. Browse template options and layouts by clicking the blocks under Choose an ad template.
  2. When ready to build your ad, click Select this template.

Customize your ad

  1. Name your ad - label your individual ad.
  2. Select image from Banno Assets, if chosen template includes an image.
    • Rate template: 600 x 200 px image is recommended
    • Media card: 275 x 300px image is recommended
    • Simple w/ background: 600 x 200 px image is recommended
  3. Pick an icon from the icon library, if chosen template includes an icon.
  4. Enter Headline text.
  5. Enter body copy, if applicable.
  6. Enter link text.
  7. Set the link to point to:
    • One of my pages: select the page from your website
    • Website URL: enter the full URL for the external website
    • App feature: select an application route from your list of available options
    • Integration: select an SSO integration from your list of available options
  8. Review the ad preview to ensure all is looking as expected.
  9. Click Finish.

Activate an ad

Get started

  1. Inside the Banno platform, select Banno Marketing.
  2. In the Banno Marketing navigation, select Campaigns.
  3. In your list of campaigns, select Digital Banking as the type.
  4. Select the name of the campaign you want to work with.

Activating ads

  1. Click the ad name within the card of the ad you are ready to activate. This will open the ad details.
  2. Click the switch next to Public, select Activate.
    • Note: each individual ad must be in an active state in order to be available to be served to users.

Once ads in the campaign are active, Banno Marketing will begin serving ads within Banno Online.
